Bank verification guide
Awash Bank publishes transaction receipts as public HTML pages on awashpay.awashbank.com. The share link has a two-part token: the first part is the numeric Transaction ID encoded in base-36, and the second part is a server-side counter that increases with transaction time. The link is sent automatically via SMS after every transaction. You can also share it from the Awash app.
LIQverify starts a live request to Awash Bank using their public receipt endpoint. A successful check returns structured payment data — parties, amount, time, and any extra fields the bank or wallet exposes.
Confirmed means the bank record matched. Failed shows a clear reason (format, not found, network, or geo-block). Never treat a screenshot alone as proof — only the bank confirmation counts.
Always paste the reference (or use QR / photo OCR) and let LIQverify re-check the bank. Do not trust a polished image without a live confirmation.
Awash receipt URLs require a two-part share token. The first part is the numeric Transaction ID encoded in base-36 (e.g. 260607112275735 becomes 2KDL95Z0NR). The second part is a server-side counter that validates the share. Use the share link generated by the Awash app.
After a transfer, open the transaction details in the Awash app and use the share option. The link will look like https://awashpay.awashbank.com:8225/-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX.
We have proven it is possible. By converting the Transaction ID to base-36 (part 1) and brute-forcing the counter (part 2) around a time-based prediction, we successfully constructed valid share URLs from just the Transaction ID twice. With 18 samples spanning April 2025 to June 2026, our prediction model is accurate enough for nearby dates. With more community samples, brute-force time could drop to under 1 minute.
It is a monotonically increasing counter, not random. From 18 analyzed samples, the counter rate is accelerating: 4.4/sec in mid-2025, 6.4/sec by January 2026, and 7.5/sec by June 2026. A quadratic model fits with R-squared = 0.9999. The share link is sent automatically via SMS after every transaction.
Since 2026, the Transaction ID has a fixed format: YYMMDDHHMM followed by a 5-digit per-minute sequence number. For example, 260607112275735 means 2026-06-07 at 11:22, sequence 75735 within that minute. Transactions before 2026 use a different hex-like format. The transaction date and time are encoded directly in the Transaction ID.
Awash Bank sends the receipt link automatically via SMS after every transaction. Look for a message starting with 'Dear Customer' containing a link to awashpay.awashbank.com:8225. You can also share the receipt from the AwashBirr Pro app.
