M-Pesa Ethiopia is Safaricom's mobile money service operating in Ethiopia. M-Pesa receipts are available via a public JSON API that returns structured transaction data. The endpoint is geo-blocked to Ethiopian IP addresses, similar to Telebirr.
LIQverify starts a live request to M-Pesa Ethiopia using their public receipt endpoint. A successful check returns structured payment data — parties, amount, time, and any extra fields the bank or wallet exposes.
Confirmed means the bank record matched. Failed shows a clear reason (format, not found, network, or geo-block). Never treat a screenshot alone as proof — only the bank confirmation counts.
Always paste the reference (or use QR / photo OCR) and let LIQverify re-check the bank. Do not trust a polished image without a live confirmation.
M-Pesa receipts can be blocked outside Ethiopia. Use LIQverify's Ethiopia proxy when configured, or retry from an Ethiopian network if the bank host is slow or unreachable.
M-Pesa's receipt API (m-pesabusiness.safaricom.et) blocks requests from non-Ethiopian IP addresses. LIQverify provides a fallback URL so users on Ethiopian networks can verify directly.
The M-Pesa receipt API is public and returns JSON data. LIQverify confirms against that official source.
Only the transaction reference number (trxNo). Unlike CBE and BOA, M-Pesa does not require an account number for receipt verification.
